IT’S IMPORTANT TO FEEL GOOD!

Usually people come to therapy because there is an aspect of their life which they don’t feel good about. As I see it, the purpose of therapy is to enable people to sort out the issues which they are not happy with.

How does therapy work?

In my approach, therapy is a relaxed conversation, held in a relaxed environment which enables people to move forward with the issues they want to resolve. Typically people find it interesting and enjoyable.

My background

My interest in Therapy started when I was a volunteer with the Samaritans in the 1970s. Since then I have trained in and worked with a wide range of therapies. I also worked on a voluntary basis, as a facilitator and trainer, with The Wider Circle, an organization which supports people in resolving the effects of past traumas and moving forward with their lives. I started my therapy practice in 2000.

I have been coaching people most of my life and provided coach training to both businesses and to trainee coaches. I supervise both therapists and coaches.My therapeutic qualifications include DHP, AdvDHP, Master Practitioner NLP, Member of the General Hypnotherapy Register and of the National Register of Hypnotherapist & Psychotherapists. I am a former Chairperson of the Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy Association. My Educational Qualifications include BSc, MA, & PhD
