COACHING OR THERAPY?

Image of lady with text if not now when?Which do you think would work best for you? Typically people use therapy when they have emotional issues which they are finding it difficult to handle e.g. anxiety, phobias, stress, panic attacks, fears, doubts, mental upsets ……….Sometimes they may want to stop smoking or lose weight.

People who come to coaching are usually seeking to achieve an outcome, or to develop a skill or capability, or in some cases to find their direction in life. Coaching can include executive coaching, life coaching, sports coaching, skill development…. I can provide Coaching or Therapy.

My interest in Therapy started when I was a volunteer with the Samaritans in the 1970s. Since then I have trained in and worked with a wide range of therapies. I also worked on a voluntary basis, as a facilitator and trainer, with The Wider Circle, an organization which supports people in resolving the effects of past traumas and moving forward with their lives.

I have been coaching people most of my life and provided coach training to both businesses and to trainee coaches. I supervise both therapists and coaches. My therapeutic qualifications include DHP, AdvDHP, Master Practitioner NLP, Member of the General Hypnotherapy Register and of the National Register of Hypnotherapist & Psychotherapists. I am a former Chairperson of the Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy Association. My Educational Qualifications include BSc, MA, & PhD

I can be contacted on 02890 391844 for appointments and general enquiries.
